Everyone has eaten McDonald’s. I refuse to believe that someone has gone their whole lives without at least trying a french fry. With such a universal subject, it’s incredible no movie has been made about the fast food juggernaut until now. In “The Founder” we get exactly that movie.
Michael Keaton stars as Ray Kroc, the salesman who discovered Mac and Dick McDonald fast food chain and turned it into an empire. Nick Offerman plays the foil to Keaton’s Croc as Dick McDonald. The movie looks to be a fast-paced and darkly cynical look at one of America’s biggest global consumer exports. Anyone else getting “Thank You For Smoking” vibes?
