Spike Lee is working his magic on an upcoming film, "Chi-Raq," which serves as a modern-day interpretation of the Greek play "Lysistrata" by Aristophane. The comedy-drama is being released by Amazon Studios, and boasts a quite the incredible cast of actors.
Samuel L. Jackson, John Cusack, Wesley Snipes, Nick Cannon, Jennifer Hudson, Dave Chappelle, Angela Bassett and more have been tapped for the film. We've received the first trailer today, which gives you an idea of the film's plot: a group of females are on a quest to end violence in Chicago's Southside.
