A few weeks ago we got a short look at the upcoming second half of The Get Down’s first season. The Netflix show has rave reviews and a strong contingent of fans ready to find out what’s next for The Get Down Crew. Now, we have a full trailer with less than a month to go until part 2 releases.
The emotional trailer updates on where the different storylines are headed, from the budding success of The Get Down Crew to the chart-topping potential of Mylene. The other stories also show their faces, from each main character’s increasingly fraught relationship with their parents to the drug dealing loans of DJ Shaolin Fantastic. Listen closely and you’ll hear a line or two from a 6lack song that will appear in the show.
