Netflix has a new series in the works called "Dear White People" that satirizes “post-racial” America as students of color navigate a predominantly white Ivy League college.

The series is based on Justin Simien's 2014 indie film, "Dear White People." The 10-episode series stars Logan Browing, Brandon P. Bell, Marque Richardson, Antoinette Robertson and Ashley Blaine Featherson.

Simien will also serve as the primary writer of the new Netflix series and is the director for the first episode.

Speaking of the first episode, the series is scheduled to launch on Netflix on April 28th.
