As we detailed in our recap of noteworthy moments from last night's MTV VMAs, the event wasn't super hip-hop-oriented, but nevertheless we got a few performances from some of our favorite acts, and Kanye West was there, so, that was cool.
Nicki Minaj opened up the awards show with a medley of songs (with Taylor Swift), and later on we got to see The Weeknd perform his hit "Can't Feel My Face," as well as Pharrell, A$AP Rocky (with Twenty One Pilots, honestly I have no idea who they are) and more.
