Mozzy is already having himself a monster year in 2017. Having linked up with Blac Youngsta for a 11-track mixtape back in May called Cant Fake The Real, and following that up with a joint project with Florida rapper Gunplay called Dreadlocks & Headshots back in June, the Sacramento rapper has kept fans’ playlists loaded with plenty of new music, but yet there’s still more where that came from. Just this past Friday, Mozzy released his third project of the year called 1 Up Top Ahk featuring guest appearances from Boosie Badazz, Jay Rock, Dave East, Lil Durk, YFN Lucci, Bobby Luv, Rexx Life Raj, June, E Mozzy, and more.
Following up last week’s video for “Sleep Walkin,” Mozzy decides to return to the scene today & partake in Mass Appeal’s ongoing “Stairwell Freestyle” series, which as the title depicts finds the Sacramento rapper sitting in a stairwell & spitting bars from an old unreleased record.
“A brother looked different when I seen him in a coffin / I told him that I got him, I visit that nigga often / Bulky four nickel on me daily till I lost it / Keepin’ hundreds I just lost the location where I tossed it / Slumpin’ at the spunky tell him run it like a faucet,” he spits.
