Lil Kim made sure the world heard her new single on Saturday when she rapped the track while walking boxer Deontay Wilder into the ring for his fight against Luis Ortiz. "Spicy" rang out at the Barclays Center with Kim delivering an animated performance of the track as she led the way for the heavyweight champion. Fabolous, who is featured on the song, was not there to perform his verse, but Kim handled things just fine on her own.
Kim posted a clip from her entrance on Instagram late Saturday night. "Just walked out my boy, boxer and heavy weight champion of the world @bronzebomber while I introduced my new track SPICY ft @myfabolouslife!!!," she wrote. You can watch the clip above.
Though she hasn't dropped a proper LP since 2005's The Naked Truth, Kim has been keeping busy over the last few months. On top of her brand new single, she also collaborated with Remy Ma on "Wake Me Up" and Missy Elliott on "I'm Better (Remix)." In November, she delivered the solo single "Took A Break."
Could Kim's long-awaited follow-up to The Naked Truth be in the cards for 2018? It definitely seems possible. For now, you can always revisit her 2016 mixtape Lil Kim Season.
