Rap stars came out to perform and celebrate at Yams Day 2017.
The second annual Yams Day boasted a lineup that will make A$AP Yams smile from the heavens above. A$AP Mob led a star-studded lineup onstage at the Theater at Madison Square Garden that included Young Thug, and surprise appearances by Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd.
Countless cellphones lit up in the dark in remembrance of music A$AP Yams, who, two years ago, died in his sleep at the age of 26. Yams was a music executive and founding member of A$AP Mob. A$AP Ferg led an emotional tribute in honor of his fallen brother.
ScHoolboy Q, Lil Uzi Vert, Joey Badass, Tyler, The Creator, Danny Brown, Cam'ron, Playboi Carti and more rocked a feverish crowd to some of their best joints. It seemed like half the known rap world came out to perform -- lest we forget Yams. Watch some more highlights from the show below.
