Ice Cube was on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday night to promote his upcoming Big3 League, and before the show he was challenged by the host to a game of one-on-one. Given Ice Cube’s boasts about his basketball abilities on “It Was A Good Day,” Corden had to put them to the test.
Leading into the segment, Corden confidently says he “destroyed” Ice Cube in the match-up. Ice Cube is shocked, and asks Corden to play the recording of the match-up. True to Corden’s word, the host destroyed the rapper-turned-actor. However, he got a little help from his editing team. They even got Ice Cube saying “James Corden is the best basketball player in the world.”
James Corden recently hosted the 2017 Grammy’s and is preparing to launch a standalone version of his Carpool Karaoke segment on Apple music. The real question is, what do y’all think of Cube’s J?
