In what is probably the first time anyone has ever spit a freestyle at the White House, creator of the wildly popular musical “Hamilton” linked up with President Barack Obama to spit a freestyle in the Rose Garden.
Lin-Manuel Miranda was backed with just a drummer as he rapped a freestyle dictated by the words that President Obama revealed via cue cards. “I did not see those words prior,” Miranda clarifies after he gets dapped up by Barry O at the end of the video. It might be quite a few years before we get to hear the Commander-in-Chief say the words, “drop the beat.”
As for the freestyle? It isn't half bad.
