D.R.A.M. performs five songs from behind NPR's famous Tiny Desk.
It's been a good week for the NPR's Tiny Desk concert series. On Monday they released a scintillating 10-minute set from Gallant and Saba. This morning they returned with a prolonged 5-song, 20-minute set by Shelly Massenburg-Smith a.k.a. Does Real Ass Music a.k.a. D.R.A.M.
D.R.A.M. is a controversial figure on this site, and his haters must answer to this performance, in which he flexes his colorful, relatable vocal style over five songs: “Cash Machine,” Cute, "Sweet VA Breeze,” “Special” from Chance The Rapper’s Coloring Book, and of course, “Broccoli.”
