David Ortiz has teamed up with fundraising service Omaze to raise money for the David Ortiz Children’s Fund and the Red Sox Foundation by raffling off the chance to chill with Big Papi before his jersey retirement ceremony at Fenway Park on June 23rd.
Additionally, the lucky winner will get to watch the game from the Red Sox owner’s seats near the dugout.
In promotion of the contest, Ortiz and Omaze created an acting reel wherein the Red Sox legend reenacts scenes from classic films that were based in Boston, such as "The Departed," "The Town," and "Good Will Hunting."
