Twitter is bringing back early 90s Sounds of Blackness music through the #OptimisticChallenge. People get together and post videos of themselves performing 90s style dances outside to the track "Optimistic." Early trendsetter Chance The Rapper got a group of his friends to show off their best dance moves to the Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis-produced classic.
In the video, Lil Chano reminds us that he's as fun-loving as the rest of us. He and three of his boys start dancing in a backyard, performing choreographed moves. They then show off their solo creations. A fifth friend comes in towards the end killing it with a breakdance bit that ends slipping down a small staircase. No doubt, the hashtag will go viral once it reaches a mainstream audience.
