The unscripted MTV hip-hop comedy hybrid Wild 'N Out has proved to be a ratings darling thus far this year, and a lot of that has to do with Chance the Rapper.

The Chi-town emcee was a guest captain on the premiere episode that recently aired, where he traded barbs with host Nick Cannon and both men landed some solid punchlines. According to Billboard, the episode was the highest-rated unscripted MTV show in almost two years, doing particularly well with 12 to 17 year olds

Nina L. Diaz, head of unscripted programming at MTV and VH1, told Billboard that the network is "thrilled with Wild ‘N Out’s stellar performance thanks to Nick and Chance’s epic head to head battle." She is also calling this upcoming season the "wildest" yet, and will feature guest appearances from Rick RossLil YachtyVic Mensa, Blac Chyna, Run the Jewels, Remy MaPapoose, Young M.A., Wendy Williams and more.
