Back in July, fast-rising Portland rapper & XXL Freshman Amine released his highly anticipated debut album Good For You. Laced with 15 tracks in total, the project features guest appearances from Offset, Ty Dolla $ign, Nelly, Kehlani, & Charlie Wilson. Meanwhile, production is handled by the likes of Frank Dukes, Pharrell, Metro Boomin, Murda Beatz, Pasque, Guy Lawrence, & more.

Having been relatively quiet since its release, the Portland rapper decides to change all that today by returning to the scene with a new video for the Frank Dukes-produced track “Spice Girl,” which almost didn't even exist altogether. “I HAD TO GET "SPICE GIRL" APPROVED BY EVERY SPICE GIRL. REALLY DIDNT THINK THEYD LET ME RELEASE IT BUT THEY ARE THE GOATS” he tweeted out over the Summer.

Opening up with a bizarre shot that reveals a naked Aminé resting on the lap of another Aminé wearing overalls, the colorful video takes several detours through cop chases, bathroom scenes, toe rings, post-it notes, and even features cameos from HBO’s Issa Rae and Scary Spice herself Mel B. Directed by Amine, the video is a bizarre and wacky clip that you may not fully comprehend at first (or anytime for that matter) but its definitely entertaining to say the least.

The video holds a special place in Amine’s heart as the “Spice Girls” were the first ever concert he ever attended as a kid. “my first concert ever was a spice girls concert when i was 5, to get Mel B in this was so special to me,” he tweeted out on Tuesday.

Check out the official video (above) and revisit the album Good For You right here on HNHH. If you wish to see Amine live in person you’re in luck. The Portland rapper just kicked off his first ever headlining tour "Tour For You," which you can peep dates for right here if interested.
