We’re only a week away from Netflix’s upcoming double stand-up special starring Dave Chappelle, and until now we only had a brief teaser trailer that showed Dave deep in thought as his jokes echoed through his mind. Now that the March 21 release date is nearly upon us, Netflix has shared a more fleshed-out trailer to get us excited.
The trailer combines both of his specials dropping next week: Dave Chappelle: The Age of Spin and Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas. A Tribe Called Quest’s recent protest track “We the People…” soundtracks the trailer, and we wouldn’t be surprised if more music found its way into the specials in other ways.
The comedian riffs on high blood pressure, OJ Simpson and ISIS in the trailer, and we can’t wait to hear the full jokes on March 21.
