FX has been slowly leaking teasers for the channels upcoming show "Atlanta," which was conceived, produced, and written by Donald Glover. Yesterday they shared a whopping six new 15-second teasers on YouTube,
The show follows Glover as Earnest "Earn Marks," a young man who has returned to Atlanta only to discover that his cousin has emerged as the city's most popular new rapper.
“I know it’s going to be very easy for people to say ‘It’s a black Mecca,’ and it is, but I just think that it’s the most American place,” Glover said earlier this year at the TCAs. “Everybody there is like ‘Yo, I got a verse.’ Everybody is trying to make something from nothing. I believe everybody has a situation, and I wanted to show real people in real situations… I wanted to make it a regional thing.”
"Atlanta" premieres September 6th.
