If you listen to the radio, there are a couple of R&B records you've been hearing a lot of lately. The Weeknd's 50 Shades Of Grey theme, "Earned It," has been everywhere, currently sitting at number 3 on the Hot 100, while Trey Songz sugary ballad, "Slow Motion," has been gradually climbing the charts, placing at 26 this week. Since "Post To Be" has already been done to death, Wash has decided to remix these two smashes on his new track, merging the beats halfway through.
It works pretty well as a suite, as the bedroom-ready Trey track makes way for the measured ride-out of "Earned It," recalling Abel's own two-part records from the House Of Balloons days.
Wash's debut mixtape, Melee, is out June 22nd.
