Dr. Dre's comeback album, Compton, caused quite a sensation last week, but it was only one part of a G-Funk renaissance, with Warren G's EP dropping the very same day. While Dre's project found him working with newer sounds, G's project is very much a return to the style he made his name off of -- many of the songs being posthumous collaborations with Nate Dogg, who worked with Warren on his breakthrough hit, "Regulate".

In an exclusive interview with HNHH, the West Coast rapper breaks down each of the songs on his Regulate... G Funk Era II project, explaining how he linked up with Young Jeezy, and how he made a conscious effort to keep Nate Dogg's legacy alive. Watch the full interview above, and stream the project in its entirety here.
