2019 appears to be the year of absurd news stories. So far, we've had to live with Jussie Smollett faking a hate crime against himself, resurfaced R. Kelly sexual abuse allegations, and more. Of course, we can't forget the current college admissions scandal that has taken the world by storm. Actors Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin were both arrested for being part of the scam, which involved William "Rick" Singer taking money from rich parents in order to boost their kids' grades and admitting them to Ivy League colleges. The weirdest twist has now come in this story with a wannabe rapper defending his own parents outside of his swanky apartment while puffing on a blunt for the cameras.

Malcolm Abbott, who admittedly did not go to college, was outside of his family's Fifth Avenue building smoking a blunt when cameras stopped him to ask about his parents' involvement in the college admissions scandal. While he may not have attended a prestigious school, his parents, Gregory and Marcia Abbott, allegedly paid their daughter's way into college. The parents have been accused of paying William "Rick" Singer, the man behind all of this, $125K to boost their daughter's SAT and ACT scores.

In between puffs of his blunt, Malcolm, who raps as Billa, spoke to the media about the scam. "They’re blowing this whole thing out of proportion," said the aspiring rapper. "I believe everyone has a right to go to college, man." That's not even as bad as this story gets. He goes on to promote his music during the interview, which is called Cheese & Crackers

Both of his parents were released on $500K bond. In case you're curious, check out his music below. Be prepared though...
