On Sunday night, Nicki Minaj questioned the numbers that put her album Queen behind Travis Scott's Astroworld on this week's Billboard 200. Nicki argued that the tour passes Travis was selling along with the album boosted his numbers unfairly, and also took issue with Kylie Jenner's tweet about the tour that mentioned she and Travis' daughter Stormi. Nicki said she had spoken to Travis about her problems with the numbers and that he "knows" he doesn't have the No. 1 album this week. Well, it seems that the two may have some more time to discuss sales figures as they'll be seated in very close vicinity at tonight's MTV VMAs, along with Travis' date, Kylie Jenner.
TMZ has shared a look at the alleged seating chart for the awards show, which shows Nicki seated beside her good friend Ariana Grande. Just behind them, we see Travis and Kylie. It definitely presents the opportunity for some good cuts to the audience.
Both Nicki Minaj and Travis Scott will also perform at the show. Nicki will deliver a "special remote performance" from "a secret, iconic location in New York." Other performers include Logic, Post Malone, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Lopez. Cardi B will reportedly open the show with some sort of monologue or skit.
