Vivid hails from Markham, Ontario, a city just north of Toronto. Like many of the rap and R&B artists close by, VIVID and Mindfull's Vibes EP is very much informed by Carribean sounds, both rhythmically and vocally. The opening track isn't unlike something you might hear from PartyNextDoor, and it's nearly as crisp. We wouldn't be surprised if this showed up on an upcoming episode of OVO Sound Radio.
