Virgil Abloh took to the red carpet at the 2018 Met Gala last night in the upcoming Off-White x Air Jordan 1 "UNC," which is supposedly headed to retailers next month.
The Off-White x Air Jordan 1 "UNC" colorway features the same color blocking as the "Chicago" colorway that dropped in 2017, and includes all of the familiar attributes of a Virgil Abloh AJ1, most notably the "AIR" text on the midsole and orange stitching. Additionally, Virgil's personalized pair for the Met Gala included orange text on the left midsole that reads, “For Red Carpet Only” and "Abloh" on the right shoe.
The Off-White x Air Jordan 1 "UNC" is reportedly set to release on June 9th for $190, according to Sneaker News. As of now it's still unclear how many pairs will be available or exactly where they will be released.
