Vince Staples doesn't understand where the hate comes from.
Vince Staples is known for keeping it real, and he has some thoughts about double standards when it comes to rappers.
Vince took to Twitter to ask a pointed question about members of the hip-hop community who hate on Logic's lyrics when he talks about growing up biracial - a fact that he's been open about for a long time - but don't say anything about emcees who talk about getting high on every verse. In short, Vince wanted answers.
Why @Logic301 can't remind you he black on every song but others can remind you they high in every verse? Asking for myself.— Vince Staples (@vincestaples) July 20, 2017
Twitter users were quick to give him those in spades, with some agreeing with the Big Fish Theory rapper and others calling out Logic's rhymes for "getting old" real quick.
People have had it out for Logic way before this album. They didn't matter then, they don't matter now. Our fans rock with the music.— Sermon (@SermonsDomain) July 20, 2017
cuz shit gets old and being high doesnt— 🇲🇽 (@causerbandido) July 20, 2017
people complain how rap is so basic, so he raps about something different and people got a problem :/— Jordan London🌎☄️💕® (@kingnanashe) July 20, 2017
Logic raps about his experience being biracial and that's corny but Future raps about lean every song and they say it's 🔥🔥🔥— TF Doom (@Trevor__Fox) July 20, 2017

Aubrey doesn't do it, French doesn't do it, Fab doesn't do it etc. They just stand on their ability at MC's.— DuffJuice (@DuffJuice31) July 20, 2017
