Villa has a knack for hummable melodies, and "Makin Breakfast" continues this trend, with his hook standing out as an especially sugary earworm, complimented by delicate backing vocals, and bouncing off of the already catchy interlocking bassline and synth arpeggios (coming courtesy of Lava Dome). He takes the energy up a bit on the verses, barreling into some triplets and reminding us he's from Atlanta.
