Chris Spencer, Vic Spencer's collaborative project with Chris Crack, is one of the more criminally slept on projects of 2016. Throughout that project and his recent solo material, Vic has proven himself as one of the better technical rappers Chicago has to offer, but also one of its most confrontational, as he exchanged diss tracks with fellow Chicagoan Mick Jenkins and dismissed scene politics on Twitter. With the release of his new record, "Dropping Feelings," Vic has continued to hold nothing back, but has channelled his furious energy into going for the #1 spot in Chicago rather than dragging his peers (though he does share a couple of subliminals). If he continues this tangent, he won't be slept on for long.
