After quietly establishing himself as one of Chicago's most exciting voices last year, Valee has made some very high profile moves in 2018. After announcing that he had signed a deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music label, the rapper released his EP, GOOD Job You Found Me, executive-produced by Kanye himself. Those who've been following Valee over the last few months will recognize a few of his singles on the tracklist, but one of the highlights, a new track called "Vlone," hints at what could be next for the evolving artist. The most atmospheric track on the project, Valee uses the space well, taking long pauses and finding unique flows and pockets as a result. It adds a dreamy and contemplative quality to a song that's otherwise an ode to designer clothes, and hints at a direction that could be explored on further material.

The EP also features a guest appearance from GOOD Music president Pusha T, who adds a verse to "Miami."

Quotable Lyrics:
These are vintage jeans, mhm
Rockin' Gucci
That's expensive feet, mhm
That knockoff lean
That shit not for me, uh uh
Fuck that bitch and give her back
Like she not fit for me
