In what seemed like an official statement, Vado announced he would be signing with DJ Khaled last weekend via twitter. In a new interview, the Harlem rapper states that the deal is "not official yet”.

Vado expressed that he was still in the decision process, hinting that there may be other interested parties. In reference to Khaled's "We The Best" label, he said, “[there's] potential over there, definitely potential is high. But you know there's a few people out there reaching."

Vado does have a long relationship with Khaled, who says the label exec has known him since he started rapping. “He knew me from my team, comin' up” said Vado, “He knew me from the Jae Millz era, that's genuine love right there".

For the time being Vado is fairly tight-lipped about where he'll end up, but Khaled's deal is not off the table.
