Saturday (October 14) marked Usher’s 39th birthday, and as the R&B icon celebrates another revolution around the sun, he’s effectively used up the whole weekend to celebrate in style, rolling out the festivities (shameless pun intended) at Los Angeles’ World on Wheels roller rink on Friday night.

Among those in attendance were Wiz Khalifa, DJ Mustard, Chris Brown, Omarion, Eric Bellinger, Ty Dolla $ign, and of course, Usher’s friend and frequent collaborator Jermaine Dupri with whom he sported some pretty suave moves while skating.

“This pretty much sums up the last 20 years of our lives, happy Birthday my brother,” Dupri wrote in an Instagram post. “I don’t believe we’ve seen or done what God has planned, I don’t know about them but I know about us, this the only way we know how to rock!!”

It seems that the crooner is brushing off the negative energy surrounding his continuously unravelling STD lawsuit saga which arrived at a new revelation earlier in the week. In one of the lawsuits filed against the singer for allegedly exposing a sexual partner to herpes, Usher filed legal documents disputing claims made by one defendant, Laura Helm, stating that by having sex with him, Helm assumed the risk of contracting genital herpes.

"With a one in six chance that any given partner could have genital herpes, [she] assumed the risk of contracting an STD each and every time she chose to have unprotected sex with a casual, consensual partner,” read Usher’s attorney Steve Stadow in a statement.

“To be perfectly clear, [Usher] is not asking the court to pass moral or societal judgment on plaintiff," read the documents. "[Usher] is only seeking the correct application of the legal doctrine of assumption of risk as interpreted and construed in Georgia's appellate decisions."

Helm is currently suing for $20 million.
