Usher has been experimenting with hairstyles these past few weeks. After doning cornrows, the singer took on another meaning of "Let It Burn" by opting for a permed coiffe. Whoever styles his tresses molded the newly straightened hair into an old school pompadour. This new look might be for a special project, a sign of a quarter-life crisis or even the manifestation of longing for the good ol' days. Either way, Twitter users were not rocking with it and proceeded to drag Usher's across the interwebs.

The artist seemed quite proud of the new 'do when he shared it with the masses via social media. He captioned his Instagram post by referencing the "Rat Pack," a late 50's group of entertainers making the rounds of the casino scene in Las Vegas. His channeling of Sammy Davis Jr. got mixed reviews. Most of his following had a good time cracking jokes. Check out some of the zingers below.

Last time Usher was dragged by Twitter for something other than his hair, people were claiming he was too old to be making trendy music like the tracks found on his last album. His “Good Golly Miss Molly” swagger ain't helping his case.
