Usher and his wife Grace Miguel have announced their decision to separate after two years of marriage and almost 10 years together. The couple has shared an official statement to US Weekly that reads:
“After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” they stated today. “We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
Usher, 36 and Grace, 48, was last seen out together in December and have been keeping a low profile since. Sources tell the publication that Usher was at WME's pre-Oscar party on Friday and was in good spirits as he hung out with The Weeknd.
Their separation, that will seemingly lead to an official divorce, comes after many accusations against Usher for giving numerous women herpes. When TMZ caught up with Grace in November, when the allegations were at its prime, she told reporters that their just "living their lives."
One of Usher's latest shares to the Gram did hint at new change with the caption "new era // new ink."
