HNHH's "Underrated Audio" puts you on not-too-mainstream music you might have missed from the past week.
It's almost December and that's some crazy shit. I've kind of been in a music slum lately, nothing that has dropped recently has realllllyy grabbed me (I'm talking mixtape-wise, Joe Budden definitely got a few listens but it's not on repeat). So I guess singles will have to be on rotation for now. Waiting on December to get here 'cause I know there will be an album or two I'll be into, i.e., Big Boi and/or Game.
The-Dream- Tender Tendencies
People stay sleeping on The-Dream and I just don't understand why. I love listening to The-Dream, he production is always on par and he can sing with our without auto-tune, I don't mind it, unlike many of the new rappers nowadays who attempt at auto-tune singing or worse yet, sans-auto-tune singing. He's re-releasing his free project 1977 and I'd honestly prefer he just release new material, but at least there are three bonus records tacked on to the re-release, including this one.
Freeway has really been on his grind with his new album Diamond in the Ruff (which dropped today) and he's put out a bunch of strong tracks. This one, with production from Just Blaze, so with that said you know it'll be hard. Freeway reps his team and the “Early” movement.
Masspike Miles- Cozmic Cloudz
Masspike Miles is the kind of artist I forget to listen too. I think a lot of people are like that with Masspike Miles, or they purposely overlook him 'cause they don't know what he's about. When I do remember to give his tracks a listen, I'm not usually disappointed, he has smooth ish. I'ma have to check out the mixtape this song is off, Skky Miles 2: Cozmic Cloudz when it drops.
UA isn't complete without some King Chip. One of my favorite rappers, and over Cardo's production? Can't miss. King Chip spits about styling on everybody, with approximately 7 to 8 rings. Almost one for each finger. “Even if I'm is wrong, nah, nigga, you wrong.” Ha.
