This weekly feature provides you with some of the most-fire yet least-viewed records that we featured on the homepage this past week. Whether they were simply overlooked because the artist name was not familiar, or perhaps they just weren't seen at all, we want to give them a second chance at your iTunes here.

This week, we have a brief selection of r'n'b from the past week, and one electronic record. Three different rising Toronto natives make an appearance, while FKA Twigs' recently debuted single is also highlighted once more. Take a look through to see what you may have missed out.

With You.- Ghost Feat. Vince Staples

Underrated Audio: August 2 - August 8

On Friday, we were hit with a record perfect for the weekend turn-up. With You., aka DJ Switch, dropped off “Ghost” featuring repetitive vocals from Vince Staples that’ll put you in a daze. It’s not the kind of beat you’re used to hearing the West Coast rapper on, and perhaps that’s one of the reasons it’s so interesting. It’s a dance record, with a deep bass and slightly house vibe that keeps a few hip-hop elements alive so as not to completely deter a rap fan. It’s the best of both worlds.

Lais- Rather Have U

Underrated Audio: August 2 - August 8

Toronto up & comer, Lais, was featured at the tail end of the week with his new drop “Rather Have U.” We first came across him via Drake’s OVO Sound Radio (where else). Drizzy’s really got his city’s talent on lock. This hypnotic r’n’b record is in line with OVO’s sound and, generally anything you might expect to hear from Toronto at the moment. It’s got stuttering bass and laced with soft background vocals to complete Lais’ crooning.

Ramriddlz & SAFE- I Told You

Underrated Audio: August 2 - August 8

Here goes two more T Dot artists on the rise, who are also both singers. Ramriddlz was blessed with a remix of his “Sweeterman” record from the 6 God, while we featured SAFE just last week. The two connect on this collaboration “I Told You,” where they experiment with their vocals and flow over chill production that infuses a bit of an Islands touch. Once again, melodies are at the forefront, and they’re becoming a benchmark for the Toronto style.

FKA Twigs- Figure 8

Underrated Audio: August 2 - August 8

Here’s some more r’n’b to round out this week’s Underrated Audio, if you weren’t already satisfied by the Toronto submissions. This one’s way different than the previous two, simply because it’s FKA Twigs and there is no other r’n’b singer like her. She delivers a slinking, hollow song that, in reality, doesn’t really feel like r’n’b at all. It’s creepy. The song goes through waves, lightening up and then getting darker. It’s a mess of sounds that only FKA can pull off.
