In celebration of Stephen Curry's return and journey to the NBA Finals, Under Armour is releasing two brand new colorways of the Curry 5: the UA Takeover Edition_1 and the UA Takeover Edition_2.
The Takeover Edition_1 utilizes a full black upper with black lacing, while the Edition_2 goes with a contrasting white colorway. Both feature a speckled white midsole as well as gold detailing on the heel and near the tongue. The Curry 5 Takeover Edition_1 and Takeover Edition_2 will be sold separately and available in limited quantities at UA Brand Houses, SC-v5.com and select retailers globally for $130 USD beginning Friday, June 1 at 10 AM ET.
Curry and the Warriors will host LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, May 31, at 9pm ET. After Steph hits his first three-pointer, Under Armour's "Steph IQ" app will go live with an eight-question trivia game for the chance to win Under Armour store credit and other prizes.
