Though Ugly God has developed a loyal cult following through his music, his name recently made headlines over something far more unfortunate. The rapper, who last delivered a studio album with 2019's Bumps & Bruises, was reportedly arrested outside a hospital yesterday. Video footage reveals him being led away in handcuffs by police officers, though footage of the moments prior was not made available.

According to Akademiks, who broke the story, Ugly God was involved in a physical altercation outside of a hospital. Apparently, police were called to the scene and when the rapper refused to comply with their orders, he was arrested. As of now, details surrounding potential charges have not been revealed, though it's entirely possible he was released later that day.
At this point, Ugly God has yet to comment on the matter. All things considered, he's been relatively silent in general, leaving many wondering whether he was still as committed to the game as he once was. We can only hope that he's doing alright, as seeing him led away in cuffs certainly raises a few questions about what actually transpired.
