The roll out for Nicki Minaj's new album Queen got seriously messy over the past few days. Amid the promo run, she got involved in a heated Twitter dispute with her ex-boyfriend, Safaree, who accused the Queens rapper of domestic abuse. Those allegations were quickly overlooked after Nicki claimed Safaree got a hairline transplant from the same person who also restored Tyga's hairline. It was later revealed that Tyga and Safaree had their hairline transplants done on the same day but from different doctors. Regardless, the plug was enough to help Tyga's doc, Dr. Craig Ziering get an immediate spike in business.
After Nicki Minaj's Twitter rant yesterday, Tyga plugged his the doctor that did his hair, Dr. Craig Ziering. Ziering recently spoke to The Blast and revealed that his "phone has been ringing off the hook" since the "Taste" rapper shared the doc's information to his 5 million followers on Twitter and said, “Tellem Tyga sent u.”
Dr. Ziering is a celebrity hair doctor who serves many clients. Although Tyga came clean about the doctor behind his hairline restoration, Dr Ziering says he believes in “Keeping all clients confidential, especially in Hollywood.” However, he did admit that he appreciates Tyga's plug.
While Nicki's rant indirectly helped Dr. Ziering land some new clients, it also ended up being beneficial for her ex. Safaree said on Twitter that he was offered a $500K book deal and also an endorsement deal for a men's hair club. Additionally, he claimed that he made $30K yesterday by referring people to the doctor that did his hairline.
