The project was sold in an effort to provide his brother with a better legal team after he was allegedly falsely convicted for murder, and sentenced to life in prison.
Big TC was featured on the tape with tracks like "Miracle / Wherever" and on Ty Dolla's Campaign album with "No Justice." According to the Guardian, Ty Dolla says, "after Free TC, he just got hella attention and something happened where it got back to them and he ended up getting locked in the hole for a long-ass time. So right now there isn’t a song on Beach House 3 with him.”
All of Big TC's featured were recorded on the prison phone, and then shipped out to appear on the albums, an act that apparently didn't sit well with the prison guards.
