Ty Dolla $ign and YG are feeling the heat on the legal front, after both rappers were named in a new lawsuit from a man who claims his livelihood was impacted by a beating that he took at one of their shows.

According to TMZ, Nelly Yoa is suing both Ty and YG over a violent incident that took place at a club back in 2015. At the time, Yoa was a budding soccer star in Australia's youth system, but sadly the physical abuse that he was subjected to the night of the show supposedly impeded his progression on the pitch in a big way. The Aussie claims that he was in the VIP area of the club when the rappers and their respective crews rolled up. When they tried to kick everyone else out of the exclusive lounge area and Yoa refused, he was supposedly subjected to punches, kicks to the head and other such blows that left him with some serious injuries.

The former soccer prospect says that the wounds he sustained were both mental and physical. They also ultimately prevented him from earning what he called a "substantial" income as a professional athlete, as per the demand letter that was submitted along with the lawsuit. Terms of the suit itself weren't disclosed in the report, but since we're talking about the lost career of someone who would've gone pro in a sport that pays their players very well, the price Yoa has in mind will more than likely be quite substantial as well. As of the time of this writing, neither Ty Dolla $ign nor YG (or any of their respective representatives) had commented on this new batch of legal action against them.

Lawsuit aside, the near future holds a lot of positive prospects for Ty, who's set to drop his upcoming albumBeach House 3, on October 27th. Jeremih, Lil Wayne, Damien Marley, Skrillex and The-Dream are but a few of the names who will be acting as featured artists on the LP, which has fans of the Cali native excited about the potential overall strength of the release.
