Back in November, news surfaced that Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign were joining forces to deliver a collaborative project, MihTy. The project was confirmed by producers A1 and Hitmaka (a.k.a. Yung Berg) who are also executive producing the album. Since the announcement, there hasn't been much more information pertaining to it but it's looking more and more likely that we'll be receiving the project in the near future.

Hitmaka called into Joe Budden's recent podcast where he was asked about the status of the project. Hitmaka confirmed that he and A1 produced the project in it's entirety and that it'll be dropping in February around All-Star Weekend (Feb. 18th). The project is already going to be huge considering two of R&B's biggest names are linking up for it. However, Hitmaka also mentioned Chris Brown and PartyNextDoor will feature on the project. It's definitely looking like it's about to be one of the bigger collaborative efforts this year. Berg also mentioned he's in the midst of mixing the project right now. The 21 track project is also rumored to feature some solo cuts as well.

Aside from working on their collaborative album, MihTy, the two artists continued to establish themselves as solid collaborators and songwriters in 2017. Jeremih and Chance The Rapper linked up once again for a re-release of their Christmas album at the end of December. As for Ty Dolla $ign, he got his foot through the international door with collaborations alongside WizKid, Kranium and other international stars.
