Two-9 just dropped their first mixtape since joining Mike WiLL Made-It's Ear Drummers label & crew. Together, the five members of Two-9 are some of Atlanta's freshest talent, and on B4FRVR, the best ATL producers, including Childish Major, Metro Boomin, and, of course, Mike WiLL, join in on the fun. After making stars out of Rae Sremmurd, who also make an appearance on the tape, it looks like Two-9 is Mike's next project.
The beats Mike gives Two-9 on B4FRVR are more slow-burning than his usual chart-topping fare. This is Mike at his most experimental, and the results are brilliant. He has three beats on B4FRVR, none prettier than "She Could Be Shorty," which is the perfect soundtrack to a smoked-out romance. As the herb keeps burning, Two-9 go back and forth fantasizing about "that girl"--the girl with "shorty" potential. Just as they catch a glimpse of her, she vanishes in a cloud of smoke.
