HNHH Premiere! Tsu Surf digs back into the archives to create a new video for his fans.
Tsu Surf got the nod as a nominee for the 10th spot in XXL’s 2016 Freshman class, and to celebrate and promote himself he created another video for fans. While the New Jersey emcee very recently released his project Newark, he decided to dig back further for this one, picking “Trapped,” a favorite from his #TSUesday single series.
The video is directed by Sage English and features Tsu and his compatriot Albee Al traveling through their stomping grounds in the less savory parts of Brick City, rapping about the real shit they've dealt with growing up there. Not a lot of battle rappers have the musical prowess to make the jump from a cappella to rhyming over a beat, but Tsu Surf completely surpasses those stereotypes. If you dug this video be sure to check out the video for “Keep Praying” feat. Styles P and Emanny, and vote for homie to make XXL’s 2016 Freshman Class.
