Troy Ave has recently found himself on the receiving end of some merciless clowning, for what many have described to be a lapse of lyrical buffoonery. It all started when Troy Ave dropped the 808 Mafia produced "2 Legit To Quit", rapping the suggestive lines ""I’m only loyal to my fam, middle finger from the stand, it’s either me or you." This immediately led to speculation that Nupac has snitching on the mind, and the Dope Boy recently hit up The Breakfast Club to clear the air.

"My mentality started changing when I was sitting in jail and then I seen people that was street, how they reacted, how they perform, how they didn't put on in a street way like I would have," explains Troy. He proceeds to explain his rationale behind the ever-controversial act of snitching, a sin of which he's been recently accused. In fact, Charlamagne even made a literal ass of Troy Ave, dubbing Dope Boy Troy the "Donkey Of The Day" over his recent Taxstone lyrics.

Troy, however, is ready to stand by his decision. "At what point is it snitching if you talking about yourself? You talking 'bout your real life. I been talking about the same things over and over, because this is more publicized, now [they] wanna say that's something?" Unfortunately, he's not at liberty to speak freely about the ongoing case, putting a stop to any talk of the legal variety. ""I can't talk about the whole taking the stand—just know I didn't and I never have or anything like that," explains Troy. "As far as all that, I'm like really bonded where I can't talk shit about a case that's going on. Like really, literally. I spoke to my lawyer yesterday, he said you cannot say anything about anything."
