Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave must be feeling blessed today.
Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave is at home today, just two days after being shot multiple times on Christmas day. Late Monday evening Troy Ave posted footage of himself leaving Brookdale Hospital, still sporting a head bandage and a sling for his arm. He got directly into an SUV. He managed to plug his recent White Christmas 4 release in the caption along with the words “shot in my head, shot in my back, GOD is Great Ya boy is back from the bottom of my heart thank y’all 4 all the prayers.”
Ave was originally shot while visiting family in Flatbush. The shooter is still at large and no suspects have been named in the investigation. The rapper previously spoke to Revolt TV from the hospital, saying, “I got a bullet still in my head and another one lodged in my back. Words cannot describe how blessed I feel to be here. To all the fans, just ride with ya boy. Keep me in prayers and play my music loud.”
The Brooklyn native was visited in the hospital by fellow NY gunshot wound victim 50 Cent. Earlier this year Troy Ave was shot during the infamous Irving Plaza shooting. The rapper also just released a video for his "No Delay" track.
