Lil Xan's distaste for 2Pac sent a ripple through the world. Before Lil Yachty could utter a "chill," old heads and youngbloods alike were burning the young "Betrayed" rapper in effigy. Xan even found himself the target of Charlamagne Tha God, earning himself the dubious honor of Donkey Of the Day. The fallout was enough to make Xan swear off interviews, and he later found himself subjected to an unsolicited ban from Waka Flocka. Even the merciless Michael Rappaport has sounded off on the rapper, and while the hate is loud and clear, few public figures have actually come to Xan's defense.
Evidently, Trippie Redd is a man of honor. The Love Scars rapper waded into the fray with some words in defense of Xan. Honor and valor are among Redd's qualities. True, he did delete the video shortly after initially posting it, but it's the thought that counts. "I personally think ya'll need to get off Lil Xan's dick," says Trippie, wasting no time. "And I love 2Pac." He also claims it's silly to expect Lil Xan to listen to 2Pac, saying "bro, do you see who he is? Of course he don't like 2Pac!"
In the original clip, Trippie's rant extends beyond that captured below. Still, as of now, the rapper remains one of the first to publicly speak out in support of Xan. At the end of the day, Xan doesn't seem to be going anywhere. No doubt this will all blow over soon.
