Trippie Redd wants you to know that he has no use for Kanye West's Yeezy sneakers, but it's unclear why. In a post to Instagram story, the rapper can be seen throwing a pair of Yeezy Boost 750s over a balcony, a move at least one person offscreen objects to, or is at least surprised by ("What the fuck?!"). Without explaining why he's decided to dispose of the sneakers, Trippie simply yells "Fuck Yeezys!"

Any sneaker collector knows the shoes are worth a decent amount of money, which is what makes the move to simply toss a pair such a statement. It's quite possible Trippie is protesting Kanye's recent praise of Trump, claim that slavery was a "choice," and other controversial remarks. He wouldn't be the first rapper to vocally denounce West over the last few weeks. If not that, he could simply be showing how little he cares about such a trendy item. Or maybe this is not that far off from burning money as a flex? Whatever it is, his friend and collaborator Kodie Shane is also down with the cause, tossing one of the shoes herself.
