Though we haven't heard much of The Weeknd since 2013's Kiss Land, his latest single, "Earned It," from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" OST, is the biggest hit of his career. The song currently sits at #3 on the Billboard 100, and another R&B superstar, Trey Songz, has decided to try his chops at the instantly recognizable instrumental.
Though the singers come from two different R&B traditions, Trey's remix shows they have more in common than one might think, both able to deliver sultry romance without sacrificing any sex appeal. Though it'll be hard for Trey to echo the success of Abel's original, he certainly makes a statement with his remix.
