Travis Scott and Drake's "SICKO MODE" has undoubtedly been one of the biggest songs to drop over the past few months, but it never reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, since the release of the song's music video last week, it looks like it's inching towards dominating the chart. This week, the song reached number 2 on the Hot 100, knocking off Kodak Black, Offset and Travis Scott's "ZEZE" which debuted as the chart's runner-up last week.
Travis Scott might be nearing a number one single with "SICKO MODE." The song made a leap from #7 to #2 this week on the Hot 100 after Scott released the anticipated music video for it. This is the highest the song has peaked since its release in early August.
Interestingly enough, this puts Scott at the #2 position on the Hot 100 for a second week in a row with a different song. Last week, the rapper debuted at #2 alongside Kodak Black and Offset on "Zeze" which fell to #6 on the Hot 100.
"SICKO MODE" went up by 41.8% to 38.5M streams this past week. It jumped from #5 to #2 on the Streaming Songs chart while marks the top Streaming Gainer on the Hot 100. Additionally, Scott and Drake's collab made its way to the top of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs for the first time ever.
Maroon 5 and Cardi B's "Girls Like You" still holds the number one position on the Hot 100, but it narrowly defended its crown against "SICKO MODE." While "Girls" declined by 5%, "SICKO MODE" gained 30%.
