It’s been a hot minute since we last highlighted some new music from T. Mills, better known as Travis Mills. In fact, the last time he impacted our site was back in 2015 with the video for “Young & Stupid” with T.I., but thankfully that drought ends here today. After sleeping on his latest single “Off U,” the Riverside, California native decided to come through this weekend & share a new single with ATL crooner Royce Rizzy 24Hrs called “Bands Now,” which he’s been promoting on his twitter the past couple weeks.

Going in over production from William Bolton, Vicky Stix, and Sean Momberger, Travis raps about getting everything on his own and “thumbing through the bands now,” just as the title depicts. It’s unclear at the moment on where this record will end up, but seeing how it’s available on iTunes as well as his previous release “Off U,” hopefully that’s indication of a new project on the way. Guess time will only tell though.

For now, take a listen to the new collar & let us know what you think. If you’re a fan, be sure to give T Mills a follow on twitter at @TravisMills for all his latest news and music updates.

In other related news, featured guest 24hrs is coming off the release of a new project of his own back in May called Nightshift. He’s followed that up with a couple features this summer & songs like “Twenty Did It Again” & “Tats On My Face” featuring Uno The Activist.

Quotable Lyrics:

Got it on my own two Didn't take no handouts
Remember I was dead broke, thumbin' through the bands now
They said I was old news, Now Im who they ask ‘bout
Look at this cash now, thumbin’ through the bands now
