If you are not familiar with Houston producer TrakkSounds, you probably should be because he is working with some of the hottest artists in the game right now. TrakkSounds has predominantly done work with Starlito and most recently lent his talents to Scotty ATL's new project Smoking On My Own Strain.
Today the producer releases a record to promote his upcoming album The Other Side. "Once Upon A Time" features spooky production provided by TrakkSounds and verses from Starlito and Scarface backed by a thunderous chorus from Houston-based singer Kam Franklin. TrakkSounds told XXL that this track was a long time in the making.
"I heard Lito say on “Something for Nothing” on Stepbrothers 2 “maybe a track with Scarface and Baby Face will help” and I always wanted to put that combo together. Face works in the same studio as me and so his engineer (Steve-O) and I kept putting a bug in his ear about Star. I knew they would fit perfect together and once Face heard the record it was over. Two of my favorite artists ever on the same track along with Kam Franklin, who is my favorite singer right now, came out exactly how I envisioned."
