As 2017 rolled in, Tory Lanez gave us two mixtapes to wrap our heads around. A key cut off Chixtape 4, "Slow Grind" partners the Toronto rapper with slow jammer Jacquees for a sexy banger.
It's clear that Tory has got a thing for Ginuwine, as the Toronto rapper previously covered the R&B star's mega-hit "Pony" at the 2016 SXSW Festival. "Slow Grind" is built entirely around a sample of Ginuwine's "Grind With Me," and our hope is that the young kids who go coco for Tory will do their research and find out who laid down the building blocks.
